Are you looking for something to stimulate the mind while baby is napping,
or to add to your CV before you return to work? If you have a few hours a week
to spare and you’d like to give something back to the NCT, we’d
love to hear from you.
Committee posts require different types of people with different skills and
there really is something for everyone, no matter how much or little time you
think you may have to offer. Support is always given by the Chairpersons and
by the committee as a whole. Online support is also offered to all volunteers by way of online head office material available to all members (see Update Online) and Yahoo e-discussion groups where you can exchange handy hints and tips with fellow volunteers in the same role.
Not only will you get a sense of pride and achievement
for your efforts, you are likely to make new friends and have some useful experience
to add to your CV too.
Here is some information on the key posts, with a few details of what they
entail. If you are interested in finding out more (no obligation at this point)
then please contact our general enquiry line 0844 243 6316 (option 1).
